Where are you located?  The Boy and Girls Club of Sherman has one Club facility, located at 1500 North Luckett.  From Texoma Parkway you will follow the signs to Austin College.  Take Grand Avenue and proceed over the viaduct (bridge).  Take an immediate right at the bottom of the viaduct.  The Club is at the end of the road at the right.  (If you look to the right while going over the viaduct, you will see the Club.)      

What time are you open?  Club hours vary depending on the time of the year.

After school program hours are 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Office hours are from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Summer hours are 7:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  Office hours are from 7:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The Boys and Girls Club is open for some holidays and school breaks.  The hours for these days are 8:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.  The Club closes the last week of summer and between Christmas and New Years for staff vacations and the American Bank Holiday Basketball Tournament fundraiser, benefitting the Boys and Girls Club and the Sherman High School Basketball program.  

What is there to do?  The Club has many activities and programs for members.  The Club is also available for birthday party rentals.  Please view the Program & Services link for more information.
Can I play sports?  Yes!  The Club offers basketball leagues for boys and girls ages six to twelve years of age.  Participants from outside the Sherman area may also participate in our leagues.  All league participants receive a trophy and keep their uniforms at the conclusion of the season.  Summer basketball camps are also offered for boys and girls in the first through eigth grades.  
 
Can other communities put teams in our sports leagues?  Yes they can.  This allows communities to participate at the Club while their practicies can be held in their own community (select - All-Star type basketball teams are prohibited)!

How much does it cost?  All participants in the after school, summer and sports leagues must have a current Club membership.  Membership are $30.00 and expire December 31st.  A small monthly fee is charged during the school year and a flat rate for the summer.  Sports, sports camps and field trips have additional fees which are available by contacting the Club.

Why would I want to join?  The Club offers safe, supervised programs and activities for kids to participate in.  We have an 15 terminal computer lab loaded with educational software, two gymnasiums, a large gamesroom, movie room, crafts room and more.  Homework help is available during the school year and popular field trips are offered during the summer.  Chances are that some of your school mates attend the Club. The Club is a good place to make new friends and have fun. 

How many members do you have?  The Boys and Girls Club serves approximately 1,400 area youth annually.
 
How can I help?  The Boys and Girls Club is always in need of some sort of help.  It could be volunteering, making a material, monetary or equipment donation, helping us fill our wish list, becoming a Club sponsor or guest speaker in your area of profession.  Please view the How You Can Help link for ways to get involved and suppor the Club.
How can I make a donation?  Donations to the Boys and Girls Club are tax deductible as the Club is a 501 (c) 3 organization.  Contact the Club at (903) 892-9019 and our friendly staff will assist you in making your donation.  Monetary donations may be sent to the Club at P.O. Box 452 in Sherman TX 75091.  Receipt of all donations will be acknowledged with a letter, accompanied by our tax identification information for your tax records. 
 
How can I volunteer?  Contact the Boys and Girls Club reagarding volunteer needs.  Criminal background checks are required for volunteer positions.
