The Boys & Girls Club of Sherman offers a chance to see your investment at work and an opportunity to join a team. There are many ways to help- here are a few suggestions:

Volunteer: If you wish to help staff and Club members by sharing your time, please call the Club and ask about current volunteer needs.  There are many ways you can help. We support parent volunteer participation. We'll be happy to welcome you and familiarize you with activities. If you have a particular skill, why not share it with a youngster?  Perhaps you may be intersted in volunteering at charity events which benefit the Club.  Criminal background checks are required for volunteers.

Sponsor a Program or Event - Businesses, civic groups and/or individuals can sponsor an existing program, event or help start a new program opportunity for the Boys and Girls Club.  Advertisements through gym banners, golf shirts and/or t-shirts are available to sponsors.  Call the Club at (903) 892-9019 for more information.

Donate Auction or Raffle Items for Club Fundraising Events- The Club is always in need of acquiring new auction or raffle items for local fundraisers which benefite the Boys and Girls Club.  Some of these functions are the Heroes Golf Tournament, the Clubs Chili Cook-off hosted by Ron and Beth Schnitker and the Sherman Kiwanis Pancake Day.

Making a Planned Gift - The Boys and Girls Club established a Planned Giving Program in 2006.  Making a Planned Gift is not as difficult as you may think.  Feel free to contact Mike DeLong at the Club at (903) 892-9019 for additional information.  You may also contact Ms. Pamela Gray, Director of Planned Giving for Boys and Girls Clubs of America, for questions and/or consultations at (720) 939-4591 or pgray@bgca.org.
